Vanessa & Alex’s big day began with the lively Chinese tradition of the groom pursuing his bride, until her wedding party agrees to surrender her. Alex embraced this tradition, singing a song to the family to gain access to his bride. These good-humored antics came to an end the Vanessa’s family and bridesmaids agreed to “allow” her to join the festivities. What followed was a stunning tea ceremony, wrought with both tradition and love. Vanessa & Alex’s Denver wedding progressed the the Denver Botanic Gardens, where we all enjoyed a gorgeous garden ceremony. Vanessa & Alex’s big day seamlessly combined the importance of tradition and their own modern style.
