Sarah & Nick met while attending college on the Auraria campus in Denver, Colorado… how fitting that they said their vows and partied the night away on the Auraria grounds! Their ceremony took place near a favorite bench of the couple’s where they’d sit together between classes, holding hands, studying, and maybe sharing a kiss or two. Like many an Auraria Campus student, these college sweethearts dined together in the Tivoli building during lunch breaks on long school days. The two invited their closest family and friends to dine along with them at the historic Tivoli during their evening reception. Such sweet congruity! Sarah & Nick reveled in the nostalgia as they created new wedding day memories and began this new life chapter.
Sarah is now a wedding planner with A Touch Of Bliss Events and her attention to textbook-perfect detail makes her experience clear! Their vintage apothecary theme was evident in every wedding element from the ruby blooms arranged by A Design Resource to the vintage-stamped sugar cookies created by Sam Keith Cakes. She also selected colors and styles that are the go to color palettes of 2018. Her champagne D’Lola Couture gown evoked the image of a vintage painting while remaining fresh and flattering. And Sarah didn’t leave Nick’s favorite things out of her carefully selected wedding elements: she surprised him with cufflinks depicting his very first car (something he loves almost as much as his bride).
To top it off, their signature perfume bar was the most original wedding favor we’ve ever seen, providing guests with mixable scents and suggested aroma recipes. Their family and friends will always remember Nick and Sarah’s wonderful wedding when they wear their signature scent. Nick & Sarah ended the evening with playful portraits that captured the city in which they fell in love. Denver’s skyline played perfect backdrop to these lovely, loving college love birds. They studied together, they learned together, and now they travel through the classroom of life together.
