This couples shoot was fun… and freezing! As Denver Wedding Photographers we are used to shooting in the frigid conditions, but we were impressed by this couple’s willingness to brave the cold for a beautiful set of winter engagement photos. Upon arriving at Denver’s Bluff Lake, our gorgeous Jaimie realized she had forgotten her gloves! A dismal omen for a shoot in below freezing temperatures. Not to worry…. her sunny disposition and Will’s coat pockets saved the day. Will and Jaimie were such troopers, striking gorgeous poses in the snow at 10° F. They are so in love, and it shows, warming up these frigid winter engagement photos. The icy breeze even worked to our advantage, whirring glittering snow into our camera frame.
Jaimie’s actress training definitely prepared her for these winter engagement photos. Her movie star smile can’t be missed! And we can’t discount Will’s practice in front of a camera – Will’s mother is also a photographer and frequently asks will to pose for her. We couldn’t have been luckier on this cold Denver day! Will and Jaimie seamlessly moved from pose to pose, and their obvious love for each other found its way into each and every snapshot. We even found out that this couple loves to vacation in cold climates, have purchased the adorably warm winter hats for a chilly excursion about a year ago. It turns out that it wasn’t our comfort in the frigid conditions that made these winter engagement photos a success… it was our fabulous couple!!!
