Steph and Eric’s Denver Country Club wedding took place on one of Denver’s cloudy, temperamental days – one of the few that seem to make us forget about all of Colorado’s sunny light. There’s more than a bit of romance in a summer day like this. It’s a bit more cozy, a bit more special, and certainly less hot. This historic country club’s charm shone through on the blustery day. And, you know what they say… rain on a wedding day is the best of luck!

Steph and Eric chose their Denver Country Club wedding because they relax and play with their family there, “We want our wedding guests to feel comfortable and relaxed; we hope to create a setting that is both elegant and relaxed.” And, by embracing the green look of The Denver Country Club’s golf course the two were able to create a lush garden look. With gorgeous blooms and greenery from The Perfect Petal, their look came together in stunning hues of greens and romantic blossoms. With a vintage flair sprinkled on top, this wedding had it all.

But the decor only enhanced the real heart of their big day, “As the Bride, I place importance on my parents.” Family and friends alike felt the love and thoughtfulness that these two poured into every detail while their adorable pup, Piper, grabbed some ooh and aahs as well.

Both Eric and Steph love sushi (their first date was at a sushi restaurant in Downtown Denver) and classic comedy t.v. like Seinfeld, The Office, and The Big Bang Theory.

“Eric proposed in Telluride at a tree we had carved our initials into two years prior. The trip was extra special because our dog, Piper, was there to share in on the special moment. The tree that Eric proposed at was situated in a thick aspen forest, which I absolutely love.”

We wish these two (plus Piper) many food adventures and countless silly laughs.
