John and Noel: Wedding Photographers in Denver
St. Catherine Church was one of the most beautiful churches we have had the pleasure to step foot in… and right here in our own backyard. This decades old church is located in the heart of The Denver highlands and is the perfect backdrop for romance. The golden archways, haunting statues, and glistening alter set the stage for this pair of true loves to become husband and wife. The couple’s absolutely adorable flower girls and ring bearers didn’t hurt either. As Noel placed her cathedral-length veil atop her head, one of her flower girls gazed at her in awe, stating that she looked like a Queen since she had a cape – just like The Snow Queen (don’t pretend you’ve never seen Frozen). I have to say that “queen” was a fitting descriptor for Noel – she looked simply regal… and John couldn’t take his eyes off her.
As wedding photographers in Denver, it is always a treat to photograph stunning new venues, but this couple’s sweet love, along with their fondness of children made this one truly unforgettable. John wanted to make sure we would capture the little ones watching the ceremony, then playing on the lawn of their reception venue. And, The Morningside Manor really did have a lovely lawn on which the children (and adults alike) could play. The newlyweds hugged and played with the children for a while, even before heading to cocktail hour… talk about devotion. And just when I thought they couldn’t get any sweeter, John revealed a secret gift for each child. He had gotten a toy for each little guy and gal so that they could enjoy the rest of the reception as much as the adults. The kind-heartedness of John and Noel didn’t escape a single guest nor vendor at this lovely wedding. We have a feeling that John and Noel will make several children very happy one day.
