Chris & Sara: Denver Engagement Photographers
As Denver engagement photographers, it’s very rare that we get to photograph fiancées whom we’ve seen become a couple! This Cherry Creek National Park session was a splendidly special one… Chris is Mathew’s brother, and my brother in law. And not only that, but Sara is one of my closest friends. Chris and Sara met about a year and a half ago when I set them up on a blind date. I just knew that Sara’s free spiritedness would fit perfectly with Chris’s hilarious sense of humor. What can I say? I guess I’m just a great matchmaker!
Sara and Chris left for a European backpacking trip earlier this summer as girlfriend and boyfriend, and returned to Denver engaged. Mathew and I cannot contain our delight at the thought of their late August wedding next year. Mathew has already begun planning how he will simultaneously play the role of wedding photographer and Best Man (I am more than satisfied with being Matron of Honor and will leave my camera at home on August 30, 2015).
Chris and Sara are a couple that loves adventure and laughter – their jovial spirits came across in every single shot. And it has to be said that my big bro and [future] little sis are two beautiful people. All of these factors worked perfectly to make our job a breeze at this session! We began in a wooded cherry creek area, utilizing a beautiful tree as the canvas for their adorable “save the date” props, then moved on to a sunny meadow… where we had to dodge snake holes and ant hills, but enjoyed ourselves all the same. Our photo shoot ended on the lake’s shore as the sun set behind our siblings. Chris and Sara have certainly brought new meaning to the name Irving Photography and we can’t wait until Sara is officially a Mrs. Irving too.
